Main features of new environmentally friendly wirewound resistors

The production process of the new environmentally friendly wire-wound resistors is strictly controlled in accordance with ISO 9001 quality management system and ISO 14001 environmental management system procedures. The product is coated (encapsulated) with a high temperature electrically insulating inorganic coating. Typical resistors are coated with organic or resin-containing coatings. When the product is used in a car or in a high-power home appliance, the heating of the resistor body under the load power may cause toxic and harmful gases in the paint to cause harm to the human body or cause pollution to the environment.

The high temperature electrically insulating inorganic coating composition is mainly composed of silicate powder, inorganic pigments, inorganic binders and various additives, and the diluent is water. It is characterized by strong adhesion, high temperature resistance up to 600°C and thermal shock of 800°C, and flame retardancy. Its thermal shock resistance can reach 300°C to room temperature 10 times, while the encapsulation layer does not crack. At the same time, no toxic and hazardous substances should be released at high temperatures.

The new environmentally friendly wire wound resistors are nickel-plated copper. The base body is A75 high-quality hard ceramic material, and the resistance wire is imported wire.
