Superconductivity of resistance and its application.

The resistance is defined as: 1 volt generates an ampere current and 1 ohm; But voltage and current are not the determinants of resistance.

The resistance value of the resistance element is generally related to the temperature, and it is also related to the conductor length, cross-sectional area and material. In the case of conductor length, cross-sectional area and material, the resistance of most (metal) resistors will increase with the increase of the environmental temperature, which is the positive temperature coefficient resistance. On the contrary, other semiconductor materials, such materials will decrease with the increase of environmental temperature, and are negative temperature coefficient resistance.

Of all kinds of metal conductors, silver conducts electricity best, but there is resistance. At the beginning of the 20th century, scientists found that certain material in low temperature, such as aluminium below 1.39 K (271.76 ℃), lead in 7.20 K (below 265.95 ℃), the resistance becomes zero. This is the phenomenon of superconductivity, which can be used to make superconducting materials. Some "high-temperature" superconducting materials have been developed, and they can be reduced to zero by about 100K (-173).

In the actual circuit, we often need to set various resistance of various resistance to limit the flow, shunt, reduce pressure, partial pressure and so on. But in some cases require value as small as possible, such as in power generation, transportation, power, storage power requires resistance as small as possible, if can use superconducting material, can greatly reduce the power consumption caused by the resistance. If made of superconducting material is applied to the actual, electronic components, since there is no resistance, don't have to take into account the issue of heat dissipation, the element size can be greatly narrowed, further realize the miniaturization of electronic equipment, can bring great benefits to human beings.
